Over 25 years, Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association currently possesses the number of lawyers accounting for over 40% of the total number of lawyers in the territory of Vietnam, including many lawyers specializing in trade, investment and fluent in English capable of protecting the rights of businesses in international trade disputes resolutions when required …

In terms of social functions, participating in activities outside of legal services, a number of lawyers of Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association (1989-2015) used to be National Assembly deputies, members of the Advisory Group of Prime Minister, Representatives of People’s Councils of cities, districts and wards … A number of lawyers have been members of several notable organizations both in and outside of Vietnam.

Regarding community activities and global integration, Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association has recently had relations with many foreign bar associations and international lawyers organizations. The delegation successfully organized two remarkable events on international cooperation of lawyers: The Presidents of Law Association in Asia Conference in 2008 and The Law Association for Asia and the Pacific for the 22nd  time in 2009.
